[ Colossians 1:19-20 ]

“For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.”

Every Thanksgiving we usually make lists of things that we are thankful for. We find all the bits of grace and mercy God had shown us through the years. We remind ourselves of major events, replaying them as if they were yesterday, and we recall memories of minor events and smile thinking, “How did I forget that?”. Or we do as the hymn says and count our many blessings and name them one by one. But I’d like to pose a question: What if God’s only gift to you was His saving grace? Would you still be thankful then?
